David Leonard Blow was born in Waratah, Australia He is an acupuncturist, specializing in rehabilitation and stroke treatment through acupuncture. He completed his studies from the Australian Acupuncture College, Sydney, in 1989, followed by internships in Japan and at the Guang Dong Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He is also the founder of the Italian AcuDetox Association in Italy and Indonesia, where he formulated programs for treating alcoholism and drug addiction using ear acupuncture. David currently resides in Rome. David pioneered the Neuromuscular Taping (NMT) methodology in Rome, Italy, in 2000. He has contributed several textbooks on the NMT concept and is a renowned international instructor, disseminating his extensive knowledge in NMT. DermoTaping is the extension of this decompression taping methodology specifically in the treatment of skin conditions. He established the Neuromuscular Taping and DermoTaping Institute to oversee proper training, research, development, volunteer training in developing countries, treatment protocol development, and collaborations with universities and hospitals.
