Garrett Campbell, a biotechnologist and molecular biologist, is a research and development analyst at Primus Pharmaceuticals, a company focused on unmet needs in dermatology and rheumatology. His work on the Rx-tri lipid emollient, the most prescribed in dermatology, has been published in the Journal of Skin and will be presented at the fall Clinical Dermatology Conference. He demonstrated that a prescription emollient cream for atopic dermatitis, eczema, and contact dermatitis repairs stratum corneum dysfunction and protects against microbial contamination. Mr. Campbell has also co-led the R&D of dermatology products using in silico modeling and gene expression analyses of orphan diseases and skin barrier disorders, including congenital ichthyosis, psoriasis, and atopic dermatitis, to identify pathways for managing these conditions. His work is patented, and he is focused on addressing severe unmet therapeutic needs, improving topical formulations for better performance, and developing new standards of care by combining Rx medical devices with drugs. He creates innovative study designs to compare the effectiveness of new skin therapies versus existing ones. His passion is translating science into improved quality of life for underserved patient populations.

Kris Campbell is a licensed esthetician, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. She is recognized as an expert in treating sensitive skin. With degrees in Supply Chain Management and Retail Merchandising, she earned her esthetician license in 2002. Kris served for ten years as Special Projects Manager and Director of Sales at the FDA. She co-owned a skincare brand focused on oncology cosmeceuticals and esthetics. Kris is highly regarded in the professional skincare community and has authored articles for trade publications like SkinInc, Lipgloss + Aftershave, Dermascope, Skin Deep, Les Nouvelles, NASNPRO, and Day Spa Magazine. As an authority on sensitive skin, she has spoken at major events including The International Esthetics, Cosmetics and Spa Conference, The International Congress of Esthetics and Spa, Professional Beauty Association, Lipgloss + Aftershave, NASNPRO, and the Esthetician Connection. A skincare ingredients enthusiast, Kris is passionately committed to her profession. She engages in philanthropy through collaborations with Oncology Training International and Look Feel Fab, supporting hospital programs like Rush Copley and Virginia Piper Cancer Center. Her dedication to skincare fuels her work with the esthetic community and followers. As a mentor, she offers advanced training to help students and estheticians advance their careers. Her product line, Hale and Hush, is known for its effectiveness on sensitive skin and is expanding to address more skin conditions.

Morag Currin, founder of Oncology Training International (OTI), pioneered oncology esthetics training to dispel the myth that estheticians cannot safely serve clients with cancer or other health issues. With 30 years in the spa industry, 18 of them in training and education leadership, Currin developed the first Oncology Esthetics® certification, setting standards across 14+ countries, including her native South Africa.
In oncology-informed esthetic practice, she is dedicated to providing safe, ethical support for clients with cancer and other health conditions. Her work combines medical knowledge with esthetic and wellness care, enabling practitioners to operate confidently within their scope. Currin educates on how therapies affect the skin, hair, nails, and lymphatic system, providing practical, evidence-based guidance. Her training emphasizes ingredient safety, contraindications, clinical reasoning, and ethics — especially during active treatment and recovery — and addresses the psychological and emotional dimensions of changes in appearance.
Her newest program, NeuroSomatic Care for Estheticians™ (NSC), extends this clinical foundation into nervous system regulation and trauma-informed, conscious touch — equipping practitioners to support the full emotional and physical experience of care, not just the skin.
She authored key texts establishing standards for working with medically compromised individuals and their skincare needs, including Oncology Esthetics: A Practitioner's Guide (2009, 2014) and Health-Challenged Skin: An Esthetician's Desk Reference (2012).
